Madelyn Palare

Madelyn Palare (or ‘Miss Maddy’) lives in Newhall, California, and holds two degrees from La Mission College as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Music from The Master’s University. As a high school student Madelyn was twice a finalist in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival competition, and in college participated in multiple concerts and recitals. Her freshman year she was invited to play in the Spring Piano Concert at The Master’s University, as well as toured the East Coast and the Pacific Northwest with The Master’s Chorale, performing in Carnegie Hall amongst various other locations. Madelyn also played with The Master’s Chapel Band as pianist in the regular chapels and was able to travel with the band to perform in New Mexico, and for the last two years she and her old band mates have continued to travel and perform in New Mexico for a church camp for hundreds of students. Through her time at Master’s, Madelyn was able to study a broad range of music subjects including theory, classroom teaching, piano pedagogy, vocal pedagogy, composition, voice, percussion, and especially piano.      Madelyn has taught piano in the Santa Clarita Valley since 2016, and has had dozens of students in piano, voice, and ukulele. She established Adelaide Music LLC in January of 2020, and has since continued to teach, perform, and write music. In the fall of 2021 Madelyn was hired to be the chapel worship leader at Providence Christian College, where she directs a small band and leads the music for their student body. The next semester she was then hired on as an adjunct, becoming the choir director for the school and revamping the choir for the first time in several years. She directed her first concert Christmas of 2022. She believes students should be pushed to be holistic and life-long musicians, given tools to create, learn, and explore music with passion for the rest of their lives.       Madelyn has also continued to perform, doing various solo performances throughout LA county. She's played for several weddings, writing personal arrangements for the couple with their requested songs, even combining the traditional hymn "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" with "Bella's Lullaby" and the "Up" theme. She has also played for several funerals and memorials both on piano and vocally, and enjoys helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones.        Besides teaching or making music, Madelyn enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, cooking (and eating!) delicious food, and writing her own music. On the weekends you'll often find her and her husband playing soccer and serving together by playing music in their church.
